Congratulations to Horse SA life member Pam Brookman and Gidgee who this week completed a 280 KM ride along The Kidman Trail. Pam was joined along the way by a number of riders, with back up expertly provided by Trevor Pengilly and many other helpers, including trail volunteer Hank Schermer. The header photo was taken by Andy Crawford. showing Pam riding past a Kapunda mural.

Also out on the Kidman was Nick Bowman of Destination Trails, undertaking an audit and completing running repairs along the way, including installing missing posts.

Join the HorseSA Facebook, page, and keep an eye out for photos from 16-24 Oct, when Horse SA Executive Officer, Julie Fiedler, heads to the USA to co-present a talk with Jim Green at the “Incidents involving animals: Managing risk- meeting societal needs‘ conference at the Universtiy of Davis, California. Thank you to the Uni for providing sponsorship to allow travel and arranging accommodation.  An international forum where Australian, and Horse SA’s work in this field will be shared. The trip also means that Horse SA duties will be limited to what can be managed periodically online during the date range.
