Whoo Hoo kind of news in the Large Animal Rescue (LAR) world.  Skills Impact has now put online the Work plans/forecast 4-year reports which are used to seek federal funding.

The Animal Care & Management Industry Sector report has recommendations relating to LAR at 4th priority for investment into a review of 50Units of Competency (to see if LAR needs to be embedded/mentioned) and to develop one new qualification and six new units plus the development of at least five new units at AQF level 4.

The Racing Industry report has at 6th recommendation: Skills in incident management involving horses and greyhounds for the development of new units of competency. Review of three units in RGR08. If funding is successful in the next four years, this is a larger cross-industry, cross-agency project.
