Polocrosse is an exciting sport that has the potential to help improve riding skills and overall horsemanship in a family friendly and fun environment. The Oakbank Polocrosse Club was established in 2010 and has adopted as key mission to support both current and potential members, providing riders with opportunities to improve horse skills and game strategies throughout the season, as well as promoting the sport of polocrosse more widely to horse enthusiasts. The club home base is currently at the Adelaide Polo Grounds at Mt Barker, where the majority of club practices take place. The practice season runs from late October to early January, when tournaments commence across the state. The club hosts one tournament each year, held early January at Hynam, in the South East. New members are always welcome, including riders of all ages and previous experience.
