Nineteen horses from the Strathalbyn Hunt Club lined up in front of the Hagen Arms Hotel to create an historic photo as part of History Week events this week, they were then watched by over 75 people leave for their hunt. Angela Goode was guest speaker at a luncheon attended by 27 people, many who had hunted in their childhood; Glenda Couch-Keen displayed photos and a scrapbook of early days of Adelaide Hunt Club and the Echunga & Districts Historical Society led a historical walk of the town for a group of 30. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day special and importantly, celebrated horses in our lives yesterday, today and for our tomorrow.
