Congratulations to students who completed the Horse SA trackwork riding course today. Registrations are now open for the next course to start in July.

Each course is 8 weeks, part-time. Students must live or be prepared to work in Marion or Onkaparinga Councils e.g at Morphettville Racecourse precinct. Some previous riding experience of any kind is required for this course. Contact Peter Shepherd peter.shepherd@tafesa.edu.au

There are lots of people who make this free course to support young people get into the racing industry including

and the wonderful staff at TAFE SA who deliver the training. There are not many courses in TAFE anywhere, where 1 lecturer to 2 student ration happens!

Training is provided through the SA Works in the Regions program, supported by the City of Marion and the City of Onkaparinga.
