The Horse Riding Clubs Association of South Australia was established in 1940, and consists of 5 clubs today - Marion Riding Club, Morphett Vale Riding Club, Southern Districts Riding Club, Strathalbyn Adult Riding Club and Western Districts Riding Club. The HRCA of SA caters for a wide range of riders who enjoy the social aspect of club membership as well as being able to compete against other members at its Interclub competitions during October and November of each year.

The Association caters for riders of all ages and abilities through membership of one of its affiliated clubs. Each club provides membership for like minded riders for social activities, lessons/rallies and competitions.

The objectives of the HRCA of SA are as follows:-

To promote interest in the horse riding and the care and training of horses for riding as a recreational and sporting activity.

To promote the interests of Horse Riding Clubs.

To convene an annual competition between its constituent members.
