The North Shore Horse and Pony Association was formed in 1975 to ensure that horses and horseriding activities continue to form a vital part of the community and lifestyle in Terrey Hills/Duffys Forest and in Ku-ring-gai and Garigal National Parks.

Our main purpose: To liaise with both Warringah Council and Dept of Environment, Climate Change and Water (National Parks & Wildlife Service) in order to keep trails open and maintained in these areas.

Our ultimate aim: To leave this area a better safer area for the future generations of horse riders while preserving and enhancing our natural heritage.

Our current goals:

• To address immediate safety concerns on existing tracks
• To maintain, develop and improve the existing fire trails to establish a network of trails attractive for walkers, horse riders and bicycles.
