Re: sports results getting into the paper:

• results sent to us by email, however fax is OK.

• The deadline time is 6pm. However, earlier the better. There is no guarantee that the results will be published for the next day’s edition. This sometime happens when there is not enough room or earlier deadline times &c. But they may get published the following day.

• Some of the style we have is an initial for the person’s first name and of course, surname. We generally put in the first three place-getters in an event.

• It would be good to have a phone number to have on the copy so we could contact someone if there are any problems.

• Our Email address is editservices@adv.newsltd.com.au - the fax number is 8206 3667. The editorial assistants are generally the people who put the results in the paper – their phone number is 8206 2216 or 8206 2328 if you need to speak to anyone.

• Junior results are published in Tuesday’s paper and need to be sent in on Monday morning. Phone through between 9am-12 pm on 8206 2626 or fax to 8206 3667 of can be emailed to tisersport@adv.newsltd.com.au with “”Junior Sport’’ and the sport concerned in the subject line.
