The Kidman Trail
Horse SA provides project management and facilitation for community education and related activities related to recreational horse trails, including conference management and educational resource development. Horse SA works in partnership with the Office for Recreation, Sport & Racing to oversee the management of The Kidman Trail.
The Kidman Trail is a multi-use long-distance trail traversing 269 kilometres of roadsides, forest tracks, private land and unmade road reserves with trail markers indicating the route. Trail enthusiasts will enjoy “seeing the world in a different way” through the Fleurieu Peninsula, Adelaide Hills, Murraylands, Barossa and Clare Valley tourism regions.
Electronic versions of the map are available here. The trail also appears on Google Map searches and on Trails SA.
