About Australian Horse Industry Biosecurity Arrangements

Australia maintains a very high biosecurity status and every horse owner contributes through how horses, people and properties are managed.

To help understand the roles of livestock and horse organisations and their nominated Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) representatives in supporting a disease response, Animal Health Australia has developed an online course to increase awareness of the main safety issues in a control centre and the field during a biosecurity emergency response (BER).
